Day 4: And I thought I couldn’t get any more sore

last night was shoulders, arms and ab rippers. I really liked shoulders and arms because (as Tony says) who doesn’t want to work the “glamour” muscles. The only problem I had was determining the correct weight and making the weight changes. It was the first time through so next time I can refer to my worksheet. I am now waiting for those muscles to start yelling at me.

I said I missed ab rippers on day one. I made a point to look for them on day 3 and there they were at the end of the DVD. Let me just say I hate Adam. All of those folks in the video are “freaks”! I did my best and can only assume I will be able to do more and more each time.

I am sticking to the diet and finding what works and what I like. One thing I tried yesterday was V8 juice. And as suspected – yuck. But I can get a vegetable serving in about 15 seconds of chugging so I’ll finish the bottle and decided after that. I started with V8 Fusion which tastes great but it is a vege/fruit blend and I am trying to play the diet as close to 100% as I can tolerate.

My daughter is hanging right in there with me – color me impressed.

I am doing P90X basic/classic – not lean. I can’t wait to get to day 30 so I can have another carb per day. I am really missing them.
