As mentioned in an earlier post. I am not a vegetable fan (who really is?) so I started off with V8 fusion which is wonderful. So wonderful I assumed it was not good for me. I then bought V8 low sodium as noted in the P90X diet guide. I can choke it down but it is a bit like drinking cold tomato soup. To day I bought V8 Fusion light and did a comparison of that to V8 low sodium. (forgive the fact there are no columns – don’t know how to do that in WordPress)

Taste Review
V8 fusion: Fantastic – tastes just like a fruit juice
V8 Fusion Light: Good, Tastes like a less sweet fruit punch
V8 Low Sodium: Ugh. Tastes like cold tomato soup
Verdict:
Based on taste and the stats above I am hands down going with V8 Fusion light. The nutritional differences are negligible and I don’t make a weird face when i drink it. I realize real vegetables are better but I gotta find options I can live with long term.
P.S. 3:00 PM. Sitting at my desk having my afternoon snack. For all you P90Xers out there who are just getting started. After you follow the diet plan for a week (with no soda, no candy and no sugar) the taste of a naval orange is divine…
