I’ve been wondering about the core synergistics workout. Now I know. Overall I liked it. Thankfully not too long – 53 minutes I think. 22 exercises and Tony jumps from one to the other faster than the other workouts so since it was my first time I had to back it up several times once I saw what I was actually supposed to be doing. With some exercises running only a minute or so if it takes you 10 or 15 seconds to figure out the move you missed a good part of the workout.
A good mix of cardio moves, some yoga, some push-ups. It had my heart rate up but not way up. Next time, now that I know the moves I can concentrate on pushing it a bit more to get a better workout. (Hey, if you’re going to devote and hour to working out – then workout right?)
Thinking ahead to my post 90 days I think this is one that I would include in my “not 6 day a week” workout routine.
Back to KenpoX tonight. I like that one…
I’m glad you’re thinking about keeping Core Synergistics around after these 90 days. I think that Core might be one of the most underutilized workouts of the whole package. It’s one of those workouts that can get your heart rate up and kick your butt at the same time and all you really need is your body to do it (I know there are a couple of moves where you may need a weight or two, but you could always use a small child like Tony says). I’m going to have to figure out a way to work it into my schedule more often now that I’m done with my 90 days.
